Tsaousoglou Group of Companies

It all started from a furniture workshop in 1925 after the Asia Minor catastrophe and the transfer of activities to Thessaloniki.

Charalampos Tsaousoglou continued his activity in Athens and established himself as the first and largest producer of metal office furniture in Greece for almost two decades.

Having equipped ministries, hospitals such as Evangelismos, theaters, the Olympic stadium, the Palais de Sport, the Lycabettus theater, most of the schools in Greece and many more based on the Piraeus street factory.

At the same time, Neostrom SA was created. which furnished most of the Greek hotels with wooden furniture, as well as the Athens Metal Pipe manufacturing in Chalkida, the largest manufacturer of radiator pipes and bathtubs in Greece.

In the same decade the Tsaousoglou family expanded its business in Corfu, building the Corfu Hilton (today Corfu Holiday Palace) and creating Corfu Golf Club (18-hole course), completed in the mid-70s.

The Tsaousoglou family was actively involved in the tourism industry in the 60s, founding together with its partners Mr. G.Fokas, Mr. A. Retsos and Mr. T. Svyriades the first Electra hotel at Ermou street, of the well-known chain, which continues its expansion until today.

The activity of Tsaousoglou S.A. office furniture, is progressing with great growth, having important agencies from abroad, always with a focus on high quality.

Today, in addition to the continuous development and renovation of the existing hotels, the Tsaousoglou Group of Companies has launched the development of a high-standard unit in Milos.
