The beginning of the Electra Hotels journey can be traced back to 1965, when a small group of visionary Greek shareholders Mr Ch. Tsaousoglou, Mr. G. Fokas, Mr A. Retsos and Mr T. Sviriades gave life to the first hotel of the Electra hotel chain, the now classic Electra at Ermou Street in the center of Athens right next to Syntagma Square, followed by Electra Palace at Aristotelous square, in Thessaloniki.
